I have never built a computer before whatsoever, although, I have upgraded one and completely dismantled another one so I am a little familiar with them. I don't have any issues with building the computer I just need help with buying extra things or maybe taking certain precautions, I have no idea. I know I want to have a positive air pressure in the case to keep dust from getting into crevices. I have this build already made up from research I have done but I am not sure if it is the best for what I am

Looking For:

  • Gaming at 1080p 60fps at med-high settings
    • Higher demanding games would be BO3, GTA5 or Overwatch
  • Some rendering capability
  • Ability to upgrade

Already Have:

  • HDD
  • OS
  • Peripherals

You'd need a very specific usecase for an FX chip

just get a skylake i3 + 470 and you're pretty much set

Don't buy a 120gb SSD, just shoot for 240gb at this point

and don't buy a CX/builder PSU, they're pretty low end

Do you need an SSD? If not, you could either get a slightly better CPU/GPU, or just save a few bucks.

PC Specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Scythe Fuma 2, EVGA GTX 1070 FTW, 2x16GB G.Skill TridentZ Neo DDR4-3600, WD Black 500GB NVME SSD, 2TB WD Green HDD, ASUS ROG STRIX X570-I GAMING, SilverStone SX700-G, Cooler Master NR200P

Designed for Windows Vista
