Multi VGA

This is going to be a stupid question, but how do multi CPU motherboards use multiple Graphics cards with sli, and also what other multi vga options are there on the server market and how do they scale.

SLI is an Nvidia technology. So far as I remember igpu dont "sli" together and nvidia doesn;t produce cpu

On my Server motherboard, I have 4 PCI-E slots. CPU 1 powers slots 1 and 3, and CPU 2 powers slots 2 and 4. As far as the OS is concerned,  it views your CPUs as one big one. Windows server and Linux view my server as a e5-2670 with 16 cores and 32 threads. SLI scaling would scale normally.

So would sli just be 4x and not 2x2x
