CAT6 is more future proof, i would go with it if you have the money to spend on it

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

I can't really find a decent one that I could use outside. I have found a 30m waterproof Cat6 but it Copper Coated Aluminum instead of pure copper. Should this make a difference?

the funny thing about electromagnetism is that the electrical signal travels on the outside surface of the conductor anyway. Utilizing solid copper is just a waste of resource and money.

maybe you should buy bulk cable and tools and make your own lengths.
