So I'm planning on buying more RAM and I want to make sure that the one I'm gonna buy (here) works.

Right now I have one stick that shows up as DIMM and is 1600 MHz, just like the one I'm gonna buy. Will I encounter any problems here or none? These are different brands btw.

It's generally recomended to get the same brand, type, capacity and clock speed RAM sticks as you already have when upgrading to prevent RAM issues.

Any program that can tell me the brand of my RAM? Anyways, from what task manager is showing me, everything's the same except for the, well, brand.

Yes, a freeware called "look-at-the-RAM-stick"
