Phone and Computer Sound Combiney thingy

Go to solution Solved by MayflowerElectronics,

That's not what I need. I need something that combines the signal from both my phone and computer to put them through one pair of headphones.

I don't need it to play music off my phone.

Why would you want to do that?

No idea if that's even possible really. I guess you can jerry rig something like this and see what happens.

Good luck.

Hi everyone.

I'm looking for a solution to allow me to have the sound from my phone and desktop PC to go through the same pair of headphones.

I have no idea what that cable / device would be called. Could someone post a link to one please?

Many thanks.

Adam

Just plug your phone into your computer and play music off of that. (Via USB cable)

It's even easier if you have an iPhone/Itunes.

Well one scenario I can think of is allowing me to view a YouTube video on my phone while playing a game on my computer.

Thanks for the link. I'll give it a shot. :)

I realise this is answered, but an alternative to this would be to use the 'line in' on your pc and plug the headphones into your pc unless ofcourse your on a laptop or your pc does't have line in.

This would be better than using a splitter cable as a mixer - which isn't really advisable.
