Hi guys, i need some advice to choose the PSU for my new rig.

Here's the config:

Case: NZXT Phantom 630

Cpu: Intel i7-4930k

Mobo: Asus X79-Deluxe

Cpu Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S

Ram: Kingston HyperX Genesis 1600Mhz CL9 - 32GB

SSD: Samsung 840 Pro - 256GB

HDD: WD Red Caviar - 4 TB

VGA: Asus GTX780 - DC2OC - 3GD5

Optical Drive: Pioneer BDR-208DBK

I think that the Corsair AX860 is enough for this configuration. What do u think, guys?

Thanks! :D

It's more than enough, I run the rig in my sig off a 750w psu but why so much RAM?

I would assume looking at the CPU/GPU that the OP is doing a lot of editing (Photoshop maybe). Though one would usually see a scratch disk...

Thanks for the replies :D

I need so much ram because i use it for editing (Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya).

That makes sense, you might want to add a scratch disk to the build so you don't mess up your storage/boot drives with all the writes. As for PSU options go for Gold rated (highly efficient) from Seasonic or Corsair (Seasonic, actually manufactures most PSU for many companies) I would expect 750w would be enough, though the one in your list is fine for wattage if a little overkill.
