Backup Software vs Windows Backup

I have a hardrive a ton of very important photos and videos the pc is always on , I was wondering if I wanna use an external drive to backup to but only want the drive to save what is new each week not the whole contents of the origin drive in case of drive failure . Should I just use windows backup or is there any backup software you guys can recommend that backups automatically?

Windows Backup does work well, Veeam Endpoint Backup Free is also a good option. Test them out and see what you like best.

 

Another good option to look at is CrashPlan and is probably the most feature rich even when using the free plan, never used this one though but I know it is very good.
