Help pc wont post

I just moved my computer parts from an old case into a new one and it wont post anymore.

 

The specs are

Intel core i7 3770k

16 gb kington ram

Gtx 770

 

Pls send help

motherboard shorting or maybe forgot the 4/6pin mobo cable etc, unless you decided to play football with the parts b4 putting them in the new case it'll prob be summit silly like that.

Is everything plugged in all the way? are the fans spinning when you try to turn it on?

1. CMOS reset

Test

2. Remove GPU

Test

3. Test with individual ram sticks 1 at a time

Test

4. Replug and clean anything.

Test

5. Sit and stare in confusion

yes the fans are spinning.

PCI-E power connector? I had that once in my old build with the 4870 card I had, one of the PCI-E power connectors was unplugged for some reason.

Make sure your monitor is hooked up to the graphics card, not the motherboard

guys it was the psu

a brand new cx 550m

is that to little?

worked with a cx 600

No, it should still post. Bad PSU would be my guess.

Check all the connections on it. There is no way it would stop working all because you moved cases. Did you plug any extra devices in that you didnt in the old case?

You'd be surprised, I had an Antec modular PSU back during my original Athlon 64 build work find one day, shut down for the night, get up, nothing but a high pitched whine the next morning. No fans, no nothing.

Yeah I get they can go kaboom randomly. but it doing so at the exact time he decided to move his parts is way too convenient
