Hello. New Member here from Malaysia. Need some opinions and clarification on my rig temps.

Here is my full rig specs:

CPU i5-6500 = SKYLAKE

CPU COOLER = CRYORIG H7

MOTHERBOARD = ASUS B150 PRO PRO GAMING/AURA

RAM = G.SKILL RIPJAWS V RED 2x4 DDR4 2400mhz (CL15)

GPU = ASUS GTX1070 STRIX 8GB

PSU = XIGMATEK X-CALIBRE 500W

CASE = IN-WIN 805 BLACK RED

HDD = WD CAVIAR BLUE 1TB

ADD ONS = CRYORIG QF120 PERFORMANCE

                   SHARKOON 12 CM RED FAN (NON-ADJUSTABLE SPEED)

                   TPLINK 300MBPS PCI-E WIFI

                   RGB LED STRIP WITH REMOTE

My CPU temp is around 39-41'C and my GPU is around 43-ish 'C. My friend recently build his own rig as well with much cheaper products for budget build. His CPU temp however is around 30'C and GPU 40'C. It is much lower than mine. My ambient temperature is quite humid since I only got a ceiling fan so maybe around 24-30'C. The temperature for my rig which was mentioned above, is it suitable considering my ambient temperature is hot? Will it lead to problems in the future with the temperatures mentioned? Or is it very problematic that I need to change something to avoid problems in the future? I just build this rig around last month and really feel frustrated if it will cause problems in a year or so. Your opinions are much appreciated.

Well since you all said its fine, I guess its normal then. Cuz I know that temperature like this where I work would definitely lower the lifespan of a small compartment. Alright thanks for the heads-up

Are those idle or low load temps? As such they are normal. Do a benchmark or stress test and lets see if you actually have issues or not. Still safe and fine temps for both CPU and GPU are 85C.

Idle temps don't really matter and your cpu and gpu are both fine up to 80-90c at load.
