I just got dead rising 3 on steam, game runs like crap so im gonna refund that, but ever since I was playing the game I was getting like this static streaking bars across my screen when playing the game and even now when not playing it when I sometimes click on something or use my mouse wheel the streaks return, what is happening?! I hope to god this game didn't somehow mess up my monitor, or maybe it was the stupid windows 10 update today? That update sucks, it wont let me turn cortana off anymore.

It could be a bunch of things: driver issue, bad cable, failing hardware, or Windows...

To see if it's Windows, recover to the un-updated version you had earlier. I'd the issue persists, it isn't Windows.

Have you restarted or shut down since you've had issues? And are you OC'd?

Rebooted multiple times no fix, not oc'd, going to try wiping my drivers and re-installing.

Ok. Remember Windows creates restore points before it updated. You can roll back of needed to see if it was the update.

I'm good it was the drivers, after wiping them when I booted on iGPU no problems at all, ran updates and bam back no problems, I guess dead rising 3 somehow like corrupted my drivers...

It wouldn't have been a new game. Things just happen sometimes. What is your boot drive? HDD? SSD? make and model.  And how old?

Not very old, few months. 1TB WD blue.
