Thoughts on my first gaming rig?

Can anyone leave any thoughts/recommendations on my first build? Thanks for any suggestions! The Parts

I'll probably get some of the parts during like black Friday/ Christmas so the build will be done about late December. I'll be sure to post a pic!

If you're going to be building it then, wait until then to ask for a parts list because who knows, something new might've come out.

The list can always be modified though

A few people gave me the parts list so this wasn't 100% me though I did modify some of it. Like I said suggestions are welcome

But yeah, so do any of you have any changes you'd like to make? Or is this a good rig for now?

Use Kinguin for a windows 10 key for cheaper

Spoiler

My opinion: Any monitor 24" or lower, 1440p is wasted on it. Go for a 27 inch at least.

Because it's a cheap but capable processor that can be overclocked w/ that motherboard. Should I switch to like an i7 6700k or something of that sort?

Any recommendations for a monitor? @iLoiter BTW I'm not looking to spend more than like $350 for a monitor that's why I chose that one in the first place.

Depends, what are you doing? Just gaming? Because if so then yes, I'd suggest switching.. Although Xeons can overclock, the Skylake is better for icing

Okay, I switched my processor to a Core i7 6700k and changed my monitor to the Asus PB277q. Everything else good? http://pcpartpicker.com/list/Nx2HzM

BTW I'll be doing some video editing on the side - will that look good on the PB277q?
