Intel Quicksync or Nvidia NVEnc for me in Twitch?

it depends, all 3 have very specific weaknesses:

- quicksync dunks out completely when there's lots of moving objects, if most of the screen is stationary or slow moving it's pretty amazing, but in the tougher scenarios its a joke.

- nvenc is closer to the x264 cpu brute force way, but has some form of intelligent algorithm on where to focus its power, sadly the performance is still quite often lacking, and the algorithm isnt as good as quick sync

- x264 is simply more cpu power = better stream. although i'd dare to argue that in the majority of cases it's far superior of both other options when you have an i7 at your disposal.

In that case, you would probably either need to reduce graphics settings, or cap framerate at 30 fps for Streaming. Using 30 fps with x264 encoding will probably yield the best balance of steady framerate, bandwidth, graphics settings, and superb video quality in a wide variety of games. Only titles where quick reflexes are needed are where you need to make concessions elsewhere to achieve 60 fps.

Reduce graphics settings? I'm still getting 60FPS in game, but my stream is running at 30FPS.

I assumed you were getting the 60 fps without streaming.

 

Your Twitch settings are set for 60 fps I presume?

I can't say at the moment, but it does run at just above 30FPS.
