Help with drain port config

This was my first custom loop and i just thought about how the hell im going to drain the thing when the time comes so i know im stupid for overlooking this but I'm curious as to the best suggestion and set up of a drain valve/ plug in my loop.

 

I have a xspc ion pump/res combo with g1/4 chrome compression fittings and 7/16 (11.1mm) ID 5/8 (15.9mm) OD tubing 

 

And a copper rad and cpu block

 

So where would be the best spot to set up this drain and what parts would you suggest for such

My best guess would be to install it right after the res. So for this you'll need either 2 more of your fittings or an extender which you'll attach to the res which then the spiltter will attach to.

Since your using flexible tubing it's not too hard you can take off the CPU block and undo one of the fittings outside of the case to drain the fluid. As mentioned putting it on the res would be a good location for the drain as it holds the main volume and in this case one of the lowest points.
