hi guys for the past few weeks of owning my new card iv had nothing but problems :( since i installed it iv been having random fps drops for no reasons and when i play warframe the game just freezes then a message appears saying display driver has stopped working ?.

is this a issue due to not having a big enough psu for my gpu ?? but my last card was a palit gtx 580 which ran better than my new card and its a asus platinum matrix 7970 and the psu is a corsair 760i .

thanks for all the help forum and hopefully im not being stupid and its a easy fix :D

PSU is more than enough, uninstall graphics drivers and install the newest one

your hdd/ssd could be dead or you win install could be corrupted so you might wanna check that

If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough it will be believed.

I second that. The drivers may not be able to install properly. I would try installing the OS again and if you still have problems, try another drive.

yes but he said " recently from no sound to files just randomly being empty" so it could also be his hdd/ssd that is failing

Yeah I know, I suggested trying a reinstall first instead of blowing money on a new drive first

Have you tried using diffirent slot? This fixed the same issue I had. If that helps RMA the board. Also try using diffirent connector, cable and monitor.

yes you can fix it yourself and IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT its just a bad part it can happen to anyone and you spend a lot of money on a awsome pc that will kick ass once it works properly and it doesnt right now so you need to fix it.
