Stupid Question!

I just want to know if I can use 2 non-SLI Nvidia graphics cards for 2 separate monitors. 

The cards are: 

EVGA GeForce GT 730

Nvidia nvs Quadro 290

Or could I use one for encoding videos to take stress off of my CPU?

you can use 2 separate cards without sli in the same system...just plug one monitor into each card. 

 

Encode videos like rendering or like youtube videos?

I think they have to be the same thing. I was able to use both the HDMI and VGA on my GeForce GT 720 and another HDMI on my motherboards integrated graphics

Encoding YouTube videos with OBS.

if i remember correctly it should be possible( remember putting 2 gt210s in a single pc for a multi monitor office setup)

I tried it once but it looked like my VRAM was having a conflict the screen was glitching the GT 730 was in the top PCIE slot should I flip it?

might help, might also be a bios setting but im not sure
