Is it true that the HyperX Cloud Revolver provides virtual surround sound performance despite not being surround sound? I'm really at a dilemma here 'cuz I'm gonna get a siberia 350 if the answer's no.

there are some true surround sounds out there but do you mean the revolver has virtual surround sound, yes or no?

Use good open backed headPHONES if you want good surround sound.

Virtual surround and all this other gaming headset shit is just marketing BS.

Razer Surround can give that "virtual 7.1" to any headset/headphones, but seriously don't count on it too much.

Virtual 7.1 is usually a gimmick.

It's a Headset that has a bunch of tiny Speakers crammed inside.

 

I'm also kinda confused about the Marketing "10 neodymium magnets".

how are 10 Drivers a 7.1 System? Also, how are 2 "subwovers" (one per side) a 7.1 System?

It should actually say that it's an 8.2 Headset.

But either way, that's all massive BS.

 

Do you really think a Headset with 10 Speakers inside manages to seperate the Sound just as a real 7.1 home theatre does? no.

 

Advice: Get a real pair of headphones.

i presume you mean one like the HyperX Cloud Revolver? I've seen a lot of reviews that say they're great.

i dont live in america but the HyperX Cloud Revolver is a really sick deal for me 'cuz for some reason the cost of the HyperX Cloud Revolver is like $80 after converting to my country's currency so do you recommend it?

Also the really weird thing about this is that the astro a40 is almost triple the price of the HyperX Cloud Revolver

If i was on that Kind of Budget and needed a HeadSET i'd get the HyperX Cloud 1
