I reinstalled windows then my i realized my wireless adapter wont work anymore because it doesnt have the drivers and i cant find the driver disk. So I tried LAN, it didnt work. No lights on the port and the lan conected light on the router is not on. I tried installing the lan driver from gigabyte's site but it say it cant find the "network adaptor". Wi-Fi on other devices work fine. I dont have anothor device to test the lan with though.

Motherboard is gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H

Doublecheck that in your BIOS you have the LAN enabled.

If you go into your device manager, under network adapters, do you have anything with a yellow triangle?

Go to your device manager, Look for your lan, Uninstall it/delete it.... Reboot system, See if it installs as you have uninstalled it / deleted it... That it will hopefully install. If that does not work. Go back to device manager and click on update software drivers via the internet method.

Sounds like defective. I would recommend using a 2nd computer to download the drivers for your wireless card if you can and then transfer then via USB.

Its totally up to you if you want to do this. I would suggest do a fresh install of windows 7 again and I shall explain why.
when I installed windows 7, I had network issues, It would either knock out my lan or It would not allow me to initalize a connection so even tho I had internet, My IE or Chrome would not show there was an connection.

You can download the ISO then use RUFUS to get it onto a USB thumbdrive / memory stick etc then install it from there as long as you have your windows key.
