I will give you 1 advice.

your monitor isn't telling you the cables are wrong in your PC, its telling you it's not connected to the GPU or integrated graphics so its not getting the video output to display. Check the cable that goes from the monitor to the GPU or motherboard (integrated graphics).

cable is firmly in place? GPU has the power cables plugged into it and its powering on(not just slid into the PCI slot on the motherboard, there are extra power cables)? Try a different cable and different port on the GPU.

Did the PC actually turn on? If not, check if the CPU, reseat the RAM into the DIMM slots, and check the motherboard to see if its getting any power, lights and all. If they are working, try moving your GPU down a PCIe slot, to see if the specific slot is faulty. Holla if you have any more questions

Did you already install your GPU drivers? If not try to plug the cable first in your motherboard, install the drivers and then plug the cable back in your GPU.

Maybe the cable is broken try a different cable

Check your monitor settings and see if it's actually selecting the right cable output

What GPU?

Is everything plugged in correctly inside the computer?

What kind of cabling?

Does the Mobo have integrated graphics? Do those work?

The only thing we have to fear is... Stupidity...
