so I just watched the latest video of amps on Techquckie and I have been looking to get an amp for my K7XX for a while now. I used (http://www.digizoid.com/headphones-power.html) to calculate the power needs for my headphones but I still don't know which one I should choose. Any suggestions?

We have a sticky thread on DAC and amps to buy in this section. Have had it for awhile.

Set a budget, decide on features, and get what looks good.

Personally, I would get a Schiit Magni 2 or Magni 2 Uber.

and I sometimes update the recommendations

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

You may not need an amp for K7XX. I had them, was fine with no amp.

Oh ok, so on the  Schiit Magni 2  the back has  right and left plugs, those are just 3.5mm you connect to your PC?

Thats RCA, you need a RCA to 3.5mm cable, like this https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-105597-3-Feet-Premium-Stereo/dp/B0094A1F3S/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1471473618&sr=8-7&keywords=rca+to+3.5mm
