Fallout 4 not loading

just trying to start a new game on fallout 4 and after pressing the start new game button it just goes to a screen which shows the robot suit and doesn't load up the game what is the problem or do i have to wait 30 mins to play.

Have you tried verifying the game files?

Mods? Several mods I have are notorious for breaking either the game from the get go or right when you enter the vault. I usually load a save after leaving the vault and modify the character on the console ('showlooksmenu player 1' without the ' to bring up the character creation screen. Is jerky so switch between face and body to force it to change views and after you're done with the edit draw the weapon to get unstucked)

na i haven't touched any mods installed the game like 2 weeks ago and just trying it now and its not loading through

It does sounds like corrupted files then. Try the steam thingie to verify the files (it's there somewhere when you right click the game) it will redownload whatever it needs.
