Replace the 950 for the RX 460. It's simply more powerful under DX12/Vulkan by 20-30% and the same under DX11.

The 950 is an old product. And the 460 came out a week ago :D

It's a brand-new 14nm GPU with better support for DX12/Vulkan.

Keep in mind. Some reviews use older drivers than others. Usually GPU performance improves by 5-10% within the first month for any GPU

Cities Skyline runs like shit on i3s
GTA V can stutter when the action picks up
Withcer 3 Novigrad is a pain even on some i5s.
Strategy games are generally going to suffer (Total War series, Starcraft and such)

Drop the i3 right away, go with the i5.

BF3 and 4 really loves cores and they will mate you stutter like hell to have a 2 core, 4 thread cpu.

Unless you are not planning to play the games with decent grapich settings, then the i3 would be "fine"

The OP didn't mention any of these titles... And, if you overclock the 950 (which is a good overclocker) you will have better performance... The RX460 is a pretty poor overclocker....

Erm? from what I've seen the benefits of OCing the 460 are quite decent considering it scales better per clock than Maxwell. Keep in mind that a 1500MHz 950 still loses to a 1250MHz 460 due to scaling
