Questions about RAID setup

Go to solution Solved by jscho,

Yes it is. :) Just make sure they're running off the same SATA controller on your motherboard as many motherboards with 6 or more SATA ports often have a 3rd party controller on-board. Refer to your manual to find them, but yes it is. Your motherboard manual is your friend. :D

Currently, I have an SSD and 3 HDDs in my PC. I want to add 2 more which I would put in RAID 0 and I would use them for recording.

Now, I'm wondering if it's possible to put those 2 (new) disks in raid 0 without it interfering with rest of my drives?

MY PC:

CPU: i5-2500k

MBo: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3P-B3

GPU: GTX 580

RAM: 8GB Corsair 1600mhz

PSU: Corsair HX650W

SSD: OCZ Agility 3 120gb

HDD: WD Caviar Black 1.5tb x2 (not the ones i want to add, already full) + Samsung 750gb (also full)
