hey guys, so i am building an Pc desk, prob heard of em, i need help, firstly, i need to know how i can wire this button http://www.frozencpu.com/products/8699/ele-375/Red_Illuminated_Vandal_Resistant_Latching_Switch_-_22mm_-_Black_Housing_-_Ring_Illumination.html?tl=g44c153 to the mobo and how can i wire this button https://www.arrow.com/en/products/ckl13efw01/nkk-switches?gclid=CjwKEAjwrcC9BRC2v5rjyvSbhWASJACKkjDzNiARoMwfgEi0VpZAaCbxMYytcFRYeUJ2S_DoTXLWZBoCn6Dw_wcB to allow that button to work,

example, turn key, gives power/ability to turn pc on with the red button, also if anyone has any ideas for it, such as maybe a website for wood supplys, custom wood shapes, or reccomending an material/object to me :)

i guess you need them in serial and then in series to the mobo.  so key pol1 -> but pol1; but pol 2-> mobo pol 1; mobo pol2 -> key pol 2

As mentioned in your other thread you can hook them up in series but it will require either spade connectors or you to directly solder to the connections to the switches to do so.

You mentioned previously you wanted the key to be turned and only then the power button to function, you will want to wire them in series to allow for that. All of this will be hooked up to the front panel connectors for the power switch in the case. As for spade connectors it depends on the size of the prongs from the switches so it would be best to take a measurement of what you will need.

Theses would look to be the spade terminal you will need to wire everything up, they just crimp on the end of the wire:

It would go to the front panel connectors, more specifically the pins for powering on the system.

Yes, it would go from one of the pins from the front panel connectors into the key switch, then vandal push button and back to the other pin on the motherbaord to power up the system so it will require the key to be turned then button to be pressed to turn everything on.
