Hi community,

I recently have volunteered to be the cameraman for an event which involves walking around while shooting video. I was wondering if a camera stabilizer would be worth the $35 dollar investment or whether I should spend it elsewhere as I have a super tight equipment budget. (my camera already has video stabilization)

Thanks in advance

It is definitely worth it

its a night and day difference on my 6s+ (which has a camera stabilizer iirc)

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

What kind of stabilizer do you get on a $35 budget, and for what kind of camera?

A Counterweighted stabiliser for a Digital camera (no DSLR as I can't afford one).

A DSLR is a digital camera.

Do you have an online store link for the stabilizer?

This will be OK, for a small lightweight camera.  But read the other discussion here (last few comments) about balancing and how light weight setups tend to be less stable than heavier setups.
