Cs go cpu

I am looking for a cpu for cs go I am going to be video editing and streaming. I was looking at the i5 6600k and the i7 6700k which should I get

If you can afford it, the i7 6700K. The hyperthreading will definitely help in video editing and streaming whilst giving you a performance boost in some games (GTA V for example).

If you can afford either one I would go for the 6700k because it has hyper threading and higher core clock.

Ideally the 6700K due to the multithreading and higher clock . . . You could go for the non-K version if you're overclocking, it won't make a difference in game

You might be able to get by with the i5 6600K but the i7 6700K is the better ideal choice.

I will go for the i7 and it will make my comp run faster

Depending on what video software you use, I'd go with the i7. GPU acceleration will likely be the more important factor but hyperthreading helps a bit when it comes to rendering.

Anything past Phenom II is overkill for CS:GO, depending on how much video editing I say you should grab i5-6600K if there is one video per week or so. (6700K is best if you make many videos per week)
