Should i buy a Gainward graphics card

Hell everyone I was wondering if anyone had experience with any Gainward graphics cards?

 

Specifically im looking to buy their Phoenix Gtx 1080 GS gpu, because its the cheapest gtx 1080 in Australia right now at $1069.

I don't have any personal experience with them but the one thing I do know is the fact that they have very loud coil whine.

They aren't available in NA but EU speaks pretty highly of them.

Palit owns Gainward, they're both good.

 

I know the Palit 1070's and 1080's are the quietest ones on the market due to their larger coolers that take up more slots and quiet fans.

Gainward is probably pretty quiet too, though the fan design is different.

 

This is all I know about them.

hey mate. as an aussie too I feel your pain. best bet is to go on newegg and get an evga one. they do internationall warranty on there cards and it will be as cheap if not cheaper than this card

The Gainward GTX 1080 Phoenix is a pretty solid card in itself to be honest. If it's the cheapest, I'd shoot for it.

Same here it's difficult to get good value PC parts in Australia, I tried Newegg and postage cost more that the graphics card, no help from amazon too. I Got my parts from a small company; MSY.

haha now im not sure whether or not i should just chuck an extra $100-150 to buy another brand such as asus, which is 1199. 

 

Do you think ill loose out on much if i buy the cheaper Gainward card?
