I've been sleeping on top of two sleeping bags on my bare carpet for nearly a year now since I had finally had it with my twin sized mattress bed and threw it out. With that said I sleep much better these days than I ever did on that stupid springed mattress.

I don't want to have to sleep on the sleeping bags though, so I'm looking for a dedicated floor bed with all the benefits of what I'm doing now. My room is fairly small so it helps greatly to have a bed I can simply fold away during the day.

Can anyone help me find what I might be looking for? Am I the only one who prefers this kind of solution?

I sleep on the floor too.  Mostly because it lets me sleep in my basement where it's colder year round like I prefer.  If it's too warm I can't sleep well even in winter.

I just use a really poofy sleeping bag though.  Now that I think about it some sort of dedicated floor bed would be nice.

Though my biggest issue is a pillow.  I haven't had any luck finding a good one in a very long time that is the right size, rather firm for side sleeping but not too firm, and does wear out too fast.
