Hey everyone, what's up?

So I was getting my new PC parts from the shipping service and I went to check my garage for a hidden power supply. I thought I had a spare of EVGA supernova but I found Huntkey MAX 700 something that gives 600w instead of 700 which makes no sense :\. anyway I feel uncomfortable about it and unfortunately there is no PC store near from me that sells an excellent power supply beside a Corsair VS650 Watt. I could buy Corsair AX760 online which gonna take like 15 days to catch money and for shipping but I want to save money for something else and buy it maybe in the next month.

but I wonder, is Corsair VS650 safe to use in my build until I buy another one next month? or just buy Corsair AX760 which its the only way if I had to play the wait game :(.

Here's the build specs in this link:
http://pcpartpicker.com/list/drZXbj

I really want a quick answer as the guy who sells Corsair VS650 is about to run out of stock.

thank you for reading.

If you can afford a 5820K then avoid the Corsair VS. They're cheap shit. Get a RMx or RMi

@007agentHP @don_svetlio

I could buy a better one, and I know it's cheap.
but the problem isn't about money, it's about time that I can't buy or avoid sadly. I had to wait like 3 months to ship my stuff and other things "I had to build a workstations from my budget as well and I was like crap" but I'm sick of waiting and totally can't hold my self as I really want to test the parts if it's okay and you know? to actually use it and test it for a month at least.

the Huntkey seems broken and I'm afraid to blow things up with it. so I guess I'll play the wait game and take your suggestions, I paid these parts by money and time literally, not gonna blow it up just for a power supply.

@Sakkura
I agree with your point, but do you think it will effect my PC parts on heavy loads or something?

For a month, it'll be fine. It's more of a problem if you used it for a long time at heavy loads. Capacitors might begin to fail, subjecting your other components to higher voltage ripple that could eventually do damage.

@Sakkura
thanks for the information, Sakkura. but I think I should find another deal which gonna be impossible due to the lack of PC stores in my city but hopefully I could find a better one cause I don't want to lose my money and the time I wasted it. if I couldn't then I will decide either I get it or not once I get the cash.
please check the list that I post it here, and if you have a suggestion I'd really appreciate it :)

@Thread212
I guess you are right, PSUs aren't something simple as I thought.
I lost my favorite gaming PC that been built in 2012 due to a power supply problems.

so I took your advice and went to find a good online/local store that located close from me and I found few stores that I could trust. I tried to find Coolmaster V series, Corsair RM/RMI and other good PSUs that are cheap to buy and ship, but I just found Corsair AX760 which it was the only option I actually had :( because of the shipping prices that will kill me someday.

I might be an old guy who used to fix and build very old PCs in the past and as the time changes, the Carbide 600Q Inverted was so confusing to install the parts in "especially the fan controller" and the cooler system and other things that I missed in my old life.

Anyway, Thanks everyone for the help, I will share my build experience perhaps when I finish it, and hopefully I'll accomplish my own personal build fully upgraded with a good graphic card that serve my purpose :).
