New graphics card

Go to solution Solved by Shubham Yadav,

A cheap 1070 will still destroy a high end 1060.

I have a question here guys: Should I go for the cheapest 1070 on the market? (here)

or should I get a very good gtx 1060 like an asus strix gtx 1060 rgb oc and all of that?

Where I live, the difference between the asus strix gtx 1060 oc rgb and that 1070 is about 50$....

Thank you for your advice

(and sorry for english mistakes)

I don't really know...

That 1070 from the link, in my country is 516$ and is the cheapest one, I can't go higher than that

OH.  I missed that link.  (that's been happening to me a lot)

That one looks fine.  Open air design so you shouldn't have a problem with noise or cooling.

Cheap 1070! Definitely better performance even if you have to turn down the fans and let it underclock. The Founders Edition cards seem to do a very good job staying quiet though they do let the temps hit 84C.

I hope so guys. Thank you a lot!

I'm a bit scared of noise and high temps on a cheap 1070

Which one are you going for. Even the reference blower style cooler for the 1070 doesn't go that high in temps. And if you don't overclock it, you are very very far from scary area.

I have a 1060 and I am telling you this, Pascal is very very tamed in terms of power to the point of gimping. My G1 gaming 1060 barely hits 65 degrees before the voltage regulation sets in and stops it from going higher. And that is with a pretty good overclock(2100 MHz).
