Hey everyone ,I just ordered all my parts for my first build and I'm really exited and I can't wait to build the PC , but I'm a little bit scarred that I might break something ( mostly the cpu or its socket ) have you got any general tips or things that are good to know for a first time builder ? ( things like static electricity and so on)

1. CABLE MANAGEMENT IS WORTH DOING  (my own personal pet peeve)

2. When installing your cpu, and when you push down the locking arm, you will hear a crunch. that is normal

3.  Test everything on the motherboard box first

4. motherboard, cpu and ram should be the first things in the case

5. handle the tiny front panel connectors now. they will make your life far easier.
