what about $100 aud

A $100 AUD might be workable, still absolute crap through. You might be able to get a used notebook for cheap, just dont expect to be gaming on this budget.

You can get Core 2 Duo prebuilts for around 35 USD...

I know, but couldnt be really bothered by the way OP posted only droplets of info each time, in the end it appeared to be australian dollar instead of american, so that is actually useless now. funny/sad how OP dissapeared in the meantime

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

a rasberry pi?

A friggin' RasPi needs 35 bucks, unless you buy a low-end model RasPi Zero that costs 5 bucks but it would glitch like hell and always out of stock. My experience with a B+ was that I can't even use Chrome properly, and that was even more powerful than a Zero!

Go to a company looking to replace their old computers. They'll sell them to you for dirt cheap since they just throw them out anyway. Went this route for my media PC and office chair. Their PC's are very weak and not really good for much but their cheap as hell.

I picked up a P4 531 server for 2 bucks, spent 6 bucks on a E6600 with other spare parts I got.

Total all I'd only spent around 8 bucks for a PC.

Core 2 Duo E6600

2GB DDR2 RAM

Maxtor 160GB 7200RPM HDD

Intel 945 LGA775 board.

Where from?
