I recently talked to my mom on the phone and the main thing she talk about was how slow her computer was. I know she got it in 2010 and last time I visited about six months ago, it was in pretty rough shape. It's still running Vista. Ah, the joys of being the most tech person in the family. Both mine and the wife's.

So, I decided to build my mom a new computer for Christmas. She don't do much besides Facebook, Facebook games, browsing, and YouTube.

Any suggestions on the build I put together? I don't feel the video card is needed, but figured it couldn't hurt if she decides to hook it up to the tv. The SSD and HD I already had on hand.

seems good, although you might need to get a bit more wattage on the PSU.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

The integrated GPU should be fine, no need for a 750 Ti..

Kinda figured as much, but I've never used the integrated GPU before on a CPU and don't know how they perform. So ditching the GPU.

I know it is, but this is meant to be the last computer she will need. Minus little things like HD failure.

that CPU is very good for lower power systems if you don't need the hard drive you power should be fine but otherwise you are pushing it

Yeah, the HD is needed. She has a bunch of pictures and family videos stored on it. I'm trying to convince her to let me store them to the cloud, but she watched to much tv on how people's pictures where hacked a while back and absolutely refuses to let me store them to the cloud.

Intel HD530 is very good. I can play Arma 3 low settings 900p at 40FPS,  Skyrim High 60fps, CSGO high 60fps

I say ditch the 2TB HDD. A 120GB SSD alone should be plenty. Also downgrade the RAM. 4GB of RAM would be more than enough.

It's an extra HD I have laying around with no use for as I have moved my home PC and laptop over to SSDs. Just giving the HD a new home.
