I just recently built a new gaming PC and there's a slight problem. Sometimes, when I log on and get to my desktop, weird flickering horizontal lines show up. They appear on my desktop and google chrome, but not any games or apps. Sometimes, I just restart my PC and there will be no more lines. I have tried changing from HDMI to VGA but that didnt change anything. My build is an FX-8350 with an R7 250 until i have enough money to buy a better GPU. Any ideas on what the problem is?

I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and checked to see if there was any software but there was nothing. The flickering continues.

sorry i was out until now my bad.

if u have another same speed pcie lane try moving the gpu to that and seeing if that continues. and if u can try testing the card on another MB? [ not everyone has 2 boards i dont haha ]

worst case u could RMA the card and sell it when it comes back [ most of the time i just get a new sealed retail package ] and just upgrade
