Really bad internet speed

I've got a TP-LINK TL WDN4800 wireless adapter on my PC, the connection is really bad. I've tried reinstalling the driver many times and it still sucks, sometimes it's decent but today it's been awful all day. Funny thing is on any other device the internet is fast like usual   I lag out of every game I play

whats between the PC and your router?

 

Are these other devices its fast on using a wired connection or wifi as well?

Well my PC is in the room right above the room with the router in. Using my phone and the Xbox, the speed is fast like normal, using wifi

 

My download speed using speed test is really bad on my PC btw whereas on my phone its normal

U sitting at the same spot while doing the internet test with ur phone? I would suggest going wired for gaming.

Theres nothing wrong with Wireless gaming as long as your close to the router with at least 3+ bar signal. Go any further than that the connection starts to degrade. I know this because I game on 5GHZ Wi-Fi on my PC Daily and its just as fast as the ethernet.

run a speed test and you will see this simply isn't true. Nothing beats a wired connection.

They are the same upload and download speed as the wired, and of course the Ping is a bit higher than the wired (about 10-20 ms) its a good option for me because I cant run a ethernet to my computer ATM

Yes exact same spot. I'll hook up my  Ethernet cable to the router and see what happens
