After the anniversary update the partition on my third hard drive isn't detected by windows 10. I wasn't dual booting or anything and the drive wasn't formatted and it shows up fine on my other computer. The partition even shows up in some third party partitioning software but I can't get windows to detect it. What should I do? I thought about using a partition recovery tool but I'm not sure if it would restore everything the same as it was before and that would be preferable.

I assume its set active in the windows disk management options and rescan doesn't work ?

might be worth looking at this

I tried doing that before but when I try to select the partition to recover it says "You are not allowed to undelete partitions when four Primary partitions exist on one disk."
