Headphone extender for my Hyper X Clouds?

The one that came with it: kingston-hyperx-cloud-control-e140489914

This one is crapping out. Was wondering why my audio was weird and distorted. Thought it was the chip on my MOBO (a post I made half an hour ago), but no, front IO and directly plugging into the motherboard works fine. Sounds good, but very, very loud. Any extenders that could house both the mic and audio jack that you guys would recommend/

It might be the wires. The wire actually crapped out on mine and now I only get sound out of one ear. Still gotta RMA it but I have been busy lately.

 

I heard of other people having issues with the wires on these headsets as well, so be sure it's the box and not the wires crapping out as well. When they do an RMA though they usually send a new pair from what I was told.

If it's possible, just RMA it. Or ask Kingston about it, they may sell you that thing cheap so you can keep using them.

I really don't know. You won't be losing just mic/audio too. You'd be losing the mic control button on the side, volume adjustments without leaving game, mic adjustments too, plus the "virtual 7.1"

There's an ebay link with similar headphones in white, but they'd give you that wire you want.

Just hit HyperX up with a email, and they will send you a new one for free.
