So I am not really happy with the asus control program.

Somehow it sometimes just randomly OC my CPU and when i start the PC (not much but I don't want it to).

Also the speed of the pump is buggy, every start (also from hybernation) i have to go into fan expert 3 and klick on a option (silent/standart/high ...) because if the system starts it automatically sets the pump to 100% which i can hear when just surfing the web or whatching a  movie, ...

Also changing the speed curves on how the fans should spin have to be changed whith changing a file and can't get overriden by the program + it doesn't save it from start up to start up

 

So what programm would you recommend to set like 3 fan modes with speed control so that i can deinstall all asus programms?

For case and CPU fans your only other option is SpeedFan. For GPU, MSI Afterburner.

so is it known to be buggy? 

i am fine with the GPU programm from asus (still buggy in setting fan curves but other than that perfect)

I don't have Asus mobo nor know anyone who has so I don't know. Last time I installed their GPU software it was worse than EVGA Precision and MSI Afterburner.
