Will the Samsung 950 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD work at full speeds on the m.2 slot on the Asus Maximus VII Ranger?

I can't seem to find to much stuff about it.

Or are you just trying to waste money on bragging rights?

Well my WD Blue broke, so I was thinking of using my current SSD and making it a storage drive and then getting a new faster one. I was just thinking of just getting it cous whats another $100 for the speed plus bigger epenis am I right?

Problem is that unless you're a video editor or some type of data analyst moving hundreds of GB of files around every day, you will not notice any speed boost and it will be a waste of money.

It doesn't make your games or programs faster because sata SSDs already aren't a bottleneck.
