Hey guys I posted earlier today and got some advice on my first build. I decided to change my graphics card to something a little cheaper and was wondering if it was a smart move. Is it going to be a viable card in the future or will I need to be upgrading soon.

I went from MSI GEFORCE GTX 1060 GAMING 6G to the XFX Radeon R9 380X 4GB DD XXX OC Video Card

Here is my current build - http://pcpartpicker.com/list/jNv8M8

Thoughts and opinions appreciated!

Get your OS from reddit for $20-30 and use the money saved on the gtx 1060 or the rx 480/470.

I managed to find the 1060 a bit cheaper than originally but this one does not have a rating I'm assuming it's not a big deal as this is a fairly new card.

any more advice? I'm leery of getting my OS from Reddit because of deactivation and a wasted 30 bucks.

I really appreciate the help guys!

Half the stuff on PCP has no ratings. EVGA is a reputable company so I wouldn't worry about that at all.

Deactivations happen but are very rare. Assuming you buy them at $25 each it would take 4 deactivations to be a dealbreaker to a normal Windows license. Just food for thought.
