4g LTE home networking. Plan and advice.

Map3y

So, im looking for a advice to switch from DSL network that supports only 10Mbps download, to a 4G LTE setup. the coast is simular for the contract, and im looking at getting a outdoor anttena and put it on top of my house, then use a TP-Link Archer MR200 router, and a secondery router/hotspot for better wifi on the other side.

Now the thigs i need a advice on, do i just use the anttenea conectors that i have on the router, or are those for WLAN, and whats the best outdoor anttenas for EU (Latvia) bands.

That TP-Link Archer MR200 seems to be only LTE CAT4 or 150Mbit/s.

And there are mentions of 4G+ for example on the Tele2.lv website and that usually means CAT6 or 300Mbit/s so you should get a CAT6 router.

I would recommend the Huawei E5186 that I'm using right now. I got mine from Sonera for just 168€ which ain't bad.

And for outdoor antennas I only know of 4G-antennit.fi. Seems EU shipping is 30€ so that's quite a bit.

Arronna 11 dBi seems quite popular, maybe there's a .lv shop that carries it?
