i thought that was all clear but i will explain again

there are like screws on both sides of the dvi d connection

so my cable dosent screw in like it should be and stay loose  although it screws like it should on everything else

including my previous gtx 780

What do you mean by "my cable dosent screw in like it should be and stay loose"? Does it let you turn the screws? When you turn them, does the cable just not stay in?

so basically your saying you cant screw the DVI cable down to secure it. Thats not really an issue. As long as you have output you should be fine.

i dont want it to bend by mistake somehow and then i will have no output....

If the screw points wont screw in then its caused by usually 1 of 2 things, bad threads, or a bent screw. You will be fine as long as you dont knock your tower around.

I mean, you could just get a different DVI-D cable, or an HDMI cable or DisplayPort cable, all of those things are $10 or less... That would pretty much be guaranteed to fix your problem. There's no way the posts on the graphics card are already bad, since it just came out 2 months ago and I doubt that you got it on day one, therefore meaning you've probably had it for at most a month and a half, and those posts don't go bad that quickly, so it must be your cable.

Try another cable. Those screws come in metric and imperial and you just happen to have a mismatch pair. Or you could just not secure it. They're there just to hold it in place. No signal or grounding goes through the screws. Be gentle with it and you'll be fine.
