Hello Gamers!

I was wondering how it would be if I installed mods to my games!

But I have never installed mods before, so I have a few questions.

For now I ONLY want to install mods (Graphics mods) on Crysis.

Is it possible to install? Cause I've bought the game on Steam.

Is there any real use of installing mods, while playing at medium settings?

Are graphics mods system intensive? Cause I get 20-30FPS.

Can I uninstall a mod whenever I want to?

If the game gets corrupt, what can be done?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't played Crysis but I can tell you a few things.

It's probably posible to install regardless if it's on steam or anything else

Is there use... I don't know thats all you

Yes you can unninstall a mod whenever you want to. Sometimes just removing the file and other times if anything happens for example a corrupt file I woulf save you're save game file and reinstall the game.

Thanks for replying!

Do you know the answer to this question- Are mods system intensive? Will there be a drop in frame rates?

I have never modded Crysis, but can answer these question as general mod question.

"Is it possible to install? Cause I've bought the game on Steam."

Can't answer, because I don't know.

"Is there any real use of installing mods, while playing at medium settings?"

'mods' is a broad term. I assume you are now asking about graphical mods? Because yes, it would be a real use because, even if you are playing on Medium, if you install a higher res texture pack it will still change the texture pack. Buuuut:

"Are graphics mods system intensive? Cause I get 20-30FPS."

Yes, the before mentioned high res texture packs would make you get less fps than you already have. If you are making the game look nicer, it will be more intensive.

"Can I uninstall a mod whenever I want to?"

Depends on how the modding goes. If you are overwriting texture files, it's less easy to uninstall (since you need to get the old textures back). If you just put some new model in the game, you can just take the new model out (if it didn't overwrite anything). Keep a backup (a couple times) if you need to uninstall stuff.

"If the game gets corrupt, what can be done?"

Reinstall :P (or go back to the backups I mentioned)
