It doesn't matter if you use home or Professional.

It doesn't matter if you use Win 7, Win 8.1 or Win 10.

It does matter that you use 64bit, you cannot have anymore than 4GB of RAM on 32bit and some programs will not work on 32bit OS's.

64-bit is a must.
