I got an email with a invite key last night and claimed it to my Steam account, but the next round of alpha/beta gameplay is going to be on the 6th (as should have been mentioned in the email).

The game's Rec Specs of an i7-4790, 16GB SysRAM and GTX 970/R9 290 (for 90Hz/FPS)/980Ti or better (for 120-144Hz/FPS) kinda tell me they're planing on making it compatible with the Vive and/or Rift, considering the i7-4790+GTX 970 is basically the min specs for the Rift, in addition to needing all that RAM and processing power for the physics simulations the game is going to have.

It's probably because they gave you a key early enough that you'll be ready to play the game when the next round of testing is to be done, since they're doing a day or two at a time in each testing back, and it means more testers can be involved if they get their keys early enough to allow them to download and prep the game before it's needed instead of burning precious testing time installing the game.

Oh, that makes sense, but does that mean that when the game is released, we can play it without purchasing it? and also, is that my $30 from Nivdia from the class action lawsuit about the 970?

In regards to post-launch ownership of the game, that'll probably depend on the way Nexon plays to monitise the game (full-fat pay-and-play, F2P with microtransactions...), but for the time being it's probably safe to say that the alpha/beta keys we got are for the dev cycle of the game until launch when they do the testing phases.

As for the cash for the 970? I have no idea.

Fair enough, at least you'll get bragging rights for having been in the testing groups of the game's dev cycle even if you don't plan on playing it post-launch. ;P

For example - I've been in almost every beta and even an alpha of Blizzard's games since WoW:Cata's launch; D3 Beta, SC2 Beta, HotS Alpha & Beta, Hearthstone Beta, Overwatch Beta, B.Net Launcher Beta, WoW:MoP Beta... I think WoD & Legion are (currently) the only Beta's I've not been in. xD

As far as I'm aware, Lawbreakers is going to have an upfront retail price at launch. I doubt participating in the alpha gets you free access to the game at launch. Boss Key Productions wants people playing their game during the alpha, ideally as testers but also because words like "alpha" and "beta" are code for "promotional demo" these days.

It's an arena shooter by a new studio headed by Cliff Bleszinski, the guy behind Unreal Tournament and Gears of War. It sounds like it has promise, and if you're into arena shooters it's probably worth taking a look.

Nvidia just emailed me and gave me early access to the game Lawbreakers. Does anyone know much about the game. or how it will be? Because, I don't.

It was supposed to be a return to classic arena fps, but it turned into class based arena fps. Its fun in short burst. The alpha only has 1 level and two game modes. Most people complain that the game is too frantic.
