asus strix gtx 1070 overclock(voltage control)

hi Guys,

i recently bought an asus gtx 1070 strix standard (non oc) and i want to overclock it. Im using msi afterburner and i cant unlack the votlage control i set it from the setings and it doesnt work 

 

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO MAKE IT WORK???!!!!!

I don't think nvidia unlocked overvolting in the stock bios, you just max out the power target and overclock from there. In case you were wondering, Strix OC doen't unlock it either.

 

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

so i wont be able to control the voltige never or can you install an other bios

Installing a custom bios will void your warranty. You shouldn't attempt it unless you know what you're doing. The performance gains from overvolting are minimal compared to the risk of breaking your card.
