Anyone here is playing We Happy Few game?

 

 

this game was released on the 26 July

 

The game basically puts you as a Downer and you will need a way to get out of Wellington Wells

 

you will either need to fit into the crowd or fight you way thur those who are out to get you esp the Bobbies

 

this  game has some vibe of Bioshock but has elements of survival as you watch your hunger, thirst, sleep and getting sick from eating bad food or getting the plague

 

the game is still in the Alpha stage, but has like 50% done and need us gamer to input feedback and report the bugs.

I don't play these types of games,only zombie games (DayZ,H1Z1,State of Decay,The Walking Dead (Can't fucking wait for season 3 so so so pumped) etc...)

the game has elements of DayZ as well

 

crafting items ranging from healing balms to improvised weapons

 

and some quest need certain items to pass and you need to use stealth to find and steal food and water

Yea,but i personally don't like these games,i like zombie games mainly because of the intensity,my favorite is The Walking Dead (like i said i been waiting for season 3 so long can't wait for it to be out in fall)

I think the game has a long way since I will spend $30-ish on it... especially with the story integration and the tedious hunt for items...

But if these will be fixed, I think will be pretty fun!

you get the same zombies chasing you

 

that is if you stand out too much as a downer, like the way you dress and behave.

 

blending in is one main element of the game

 

in those run down areas, dress like a begger

 

if you wear a suit in the rural area, you will pissed off ppl.

 

and in the uptown areas, if you dressed in rags or you try to sneak into the house. the citizens will raise the alarm and the ppl and bobbies will come after you

 

and you will need to watch your stamina because if you run out while running away, they will catch up and give you a good beating

 

did i mentioned it has perma death?

yes its a Alpha so i guess it still has bug here and there.

 

but the story is really interesting.

prob mods once they completed the full game

 

It uses a Unreal Engine so the community for mods is there and supported

Would be nice to see,but still even with mods to me it looks more like a fun game and not a intense game

I'm getting bored with these constant barrages of survival games. They all feel too similar in the long run
