Hey everyone i have a problem and i need some help! So just the other day i installed the MSI GTX 1080 into my computer. The card runs games great but the problem is now games take 5x longer to load, and whenever i want to edit a video in Sony Vegas Pro the preview screen is crazy choppy and unbearable. My computer boots up just fine, i have uninstalled all of the old drivers and updated them to the current ones. i have a Intel Core i5 6600k CPU, 16GB DDR4 2666MHz Memory, and a 750w power supply. Everything seems to run normal except recorded videos and game load times, if anyone has any suggestions on what i can do to fix this problem i would be super grateful! Thanks!

Try running DDU to completely rid your system of old drivers and reinstall that way.

Yes they are both on the SSD.

Your last bet is to reinstall windows and then put all the new drivers back. Personally i've never encountered this thus, i'm not that much of a pro.

1.First of all you need the Windows Media Creation tool, you can download it here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8

2.Second you open it and chose which you wan't you can chose between Windows 8/8.1 but i would recommend 8.1,it will start downloading the Windows 8/8.1 ISO so wait

3.Third your gonna need a USB drive with at least 4gb of free space and then once the ISO file from the creation tool has downloaded you do download the Windows USB Tool from here http://wudt.codeplex.com/ and open it

4.Select your USB drive and browse and select your ISO that you downloaded from the creation tool

5.Once its done close the USB Tool and you have a bootable drive

6.Turn of your computer and when its turning on go into the boot menu and select your USB Device and it should turn on showing the Windows 8 logo

7.Once you done everything a screen should pop up with a bunch of drives select in the bottom right corner more options and select your C drive and click format,it should format the C drive after that's done click the C drive and then next and it should start installing

8.Once its done it should boot up into the windows screen and then just install everything you need

NOTE NOTE NOTE : Before you do all this go into your computer and rename all the drives to something so you know what there name is in the installation procces

Can you get a free version of windows 8.1 pro if you download it on your USB and reinstall it on your PC even if your on windows 7?

But you can still use it right? So if I download it I will have the not genuine windows version?

Yes you can use it,but it will be unregistered and you will need to find a product key or buy one

WOW didn't know that, the unregistered version is like the normal version but you just have this thing pop up all the time saying that your version is not genuine. Also you don't get to upgrade but WHO CARES? lol. You can even go to the registry to remove the warning of the unregistered and you also get to change the background.

Yes,it is genuine and will work, but you will get pop-ups telling you to register, but hey its better than just going on piratebay and downloading a "cracked" version of it which may have a virus, this ISO is directly from windows and is 100% legit

True, there is actually a thing in the registry that gives you the option to disable the pop ups! It's pretty awesome and I am sure there is even a way in the registry to trick the OS to think that you've already put the code in to activate windows.
