So I'm trying to update to anniversary build of Windows 10. After restarting the computer, the update is installing. It freeze at 23% and gives me a BSOD clock_timeout_watchdog so I assume its overclock. I went default settings and turn off Turbo Boost. I tried again and this time it just freeze at 23% with no BSOD. Restarting brings me to previous build.

Now I can't figure it out, I've googled and did sfc/ scannow, fixed opencll.dll. Cleaned the registry with ccleaner, deleted stuff in Windows/softwaredistribution.

This could be a sign from a higher power telling you not to update. LOL. From the few forum threads I have checked out, Im wondering if my Windows install is going to be screwed again after this update.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

If your Windows Install a clean install or and upgrade? If its an upgrade then you may have to do a clean install. Many threads I have read suggested this. I havent had an upgrade install work before, all of them have failed.
