Windows 10 update

Just installed Windows 10 update.

One thing that it did was change the setting I have on my computer, to allow it to distribute updates to other computers. I explicitly disabled this feature, and actually checked it this afternoon to make sure it remained disabled.

Installed Windows 10 update (the big one), and wham, the setting changed to essentially turn my computer into a server for other machines.

If you don't want your bandwidth eaten, I highly suggest that anyone who has Windows 10 checks this setting. As, left un-disabled, your computer could end up being a server for thousands of others.

Where exactly is this setting?

My connection can handle constant P2P but I don't really want that eating up bandwidth when I'm streaming

Its in Settings --> Windows Update --> Advanced Options --> Choose how updates are delivered. Disable that.

Actually it was your fault and you changed it. If you picked "Express Settings" then it reset your settings. If not then you didn't.
