Should I do it? I have a 7970 and the core clock is at 1075, and my friendsaid OC memory causes more issues than the performance increase is worth.

1. Will it cause issue and if so what kind of issues.

2. How much of a performance increase do you actually get.

3. Given the 2 questions above is it worth OC the graphics card memory?

Tends to differ from game to game, i know ive had my 770 memory running at 8ghz for months without issues although the actual performance gain between core oc and mem oc was maybe 5fps at best in the games i been playing
